Optoma NEO-i DV20A Pico Projector/Smartphone Speaker Dock Review!

Last year, Optoma launched their PK301 Pico Projector at CES 2010.  This year at CES 2011, I had the pleasure of viewing their latest flagship product, the Optoma NEO-i DV20A, which basically is like the PK301 but more. The all-new Optoma NEO-i DV20A is not only a pico projector but is capable of acting as a dock for your iPod, iPhone, and iPad.  Besides that, it acts as a speaker. But even if you don’t use Apple products, you can also hook up your Android smartphones via its HDMI input or AV in. (Phones like Droid X and HTC Evo 4G has HDMI output while phones like Samsung Galaxy S series can output via AV out.) Basically, it’s an all-in-one solution for those of you who want a pico projector with speaker and ability to dock your iPod, iPhone, or iPad. *Note – You will need an additional adaptor kit for using iPad. The Optoma NEO-i DV20A is capable of projecting up to 120-inches at 16:9 aspect ratio WXGA, 1280×800 pixels or up to 1080i(1920×1080) with use of HDMI inputs.
